Feeling Black and Blue
I took a quiz on the WhoWhatWear website on what coat is best suited to you and I got the following:
"You're a laid-back lady with an ease about your style. The blanket coat is the most comfortable coat on the list, so you can throw it on and go, while still feeling totally on-point for fall".
It's like they are psychic or something...seriously that shit is the truth! So of course I felt obligated to go and and buy a blanket coat! I really like the current trend of the camel coloured blanket coats but everyone has them and I wanted to be different and as a result I went for navy, which is a colour I love and strangely enough I've never had a navy coat before so really this was a practical buy! And as WhoWhatWear predicted, I do just throw it on with everything and go go go! But for the shoot, I thought I'd try and be a little bit extra fabulous because the last post was quite casual! But even so, it's still a day outfit so it's not too dressy.
Also, I've always wanted a long sleeve turtleneck dress, it's so classy yet sexy ... very Kim K right now. The one I'm wearing is both cheap and good quality, ideal really. Plus it's one sale!!!!!! And I love mixing black and navy together, I know they say it's a clash but it's one that I adore! Very chic in my opinion! Finally, those boots...I mean THOSE BOOTS!! I much prefer the chunkier heel, especially for me as I'm a little curvier on my bottom half. They just look more casual and are so comfortable for daywear. Last touches of a bit of Chanel and my signature gold bling and I felt ready to take on London! I was extremely lucky that the weather was quite mild when we shot this..a couple of days later it took a turn for the worse and become sooooo chilly, my bare legs would definitely not have survived in that weather. Anyway, I'm done babbling. Need to go prepare for my next shoot but I leave you with another wintery outfit inspiration. Hope you all have a wonderfully relaxing Sunday!! Ciao for now xo
