Starting my day right this morning. Normally I pig out Sunday mornings but I've had such a unhealthy week with food that I felt I needed a much needed health boost. Plus I haven't used my smoothie maker in ages so dusted it off (literally) and whipped up this good-looking drink. It includes 2 bananas, a bunch of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries, 4 tablespoons of natural yoghurt, 2 tablespoons of flaxseed, a little skimmed milk and a dash of honey. Yum. To be fair, it's filled with quite a bit of sugar but all those berries are packed with much needed anti-oxidants, helping to prevent nasty diseases. And it tastes good so meh. Side note: the grapefruit is purely decorative..as in, it did not go into the smoothie. It did however go into my belly lol.
I was planning on going for a nice long walk today but the weather looks like it's gonna rain so I might just tidy up flat and get everything ready for the week ahead so I can have a cosy evening tonight. Hope you all have a lovely day xo
