Camouflage is how I'm planning to stand out this spring season (as contradictory as that might sound lol). Something that can be worn all year round so always a great buy; I particularly love the camo look for spring cos its plays a great contrast against pretty pastels, edging out any floaty or girly pieces. I have been chasing the right camo jacket for sooooo long now ...next week I'm getting one regardless. I like the one from Zara (above) but I wanna check what might be available in army shops. I can then get something that feels kinda authentic and really be living that badass chick dream lol. Apparently there is quite a good army shop on Kilburn High Street so you'll find me there next weekend for sure. If not, I'm sticking with my homegirl Zara as she rarely ever steers me wrong.
Soooo...how's your day been? Mine has been busy but nice. I work with such a lovely team and on Wednesdays we always have loads of team meetings and paperwork catch up to do. But we always start the day off with a big team breakfast, something I feel I've helped orchestrate, along with my other feeder colleagues. I just think sharing food is great for bonding and you'd be surprised what a morale boost a yummy mid week pick-me-up can be. Today we had toasted brioche, bacon sandwiches, scrambled eggs and roasted tomatoes with a side of pain au chocolat. Just divine! The rest of the day was a breakfast haven blur and then before you know it, I'm now home about to make fajitas haha. I'm such a foodie but hey, it makes me happy. Ok better get cooking and settle down for movie night, watching Silver Linings Playbook...one of my faves. À bientôt xo
