It's Too Cold Outside

Carelle - Homeless Chic

Well hello again!! Meant for this post to go out over the weekend but it was such a busy one and now it's Monday so yeh. But anyway, it's out now. So there's a bit of a story behind this post. I haven't created many outfit shots recently as I've been feeling a bit uninspired by my wardrobe. I haven't done a good shop since June/July and with the weather changing, any new summer clothes no longer work. Then a colleague of mine told me he was getting rid of a really cosy jumper he acquired on his travels from Nepal and offered it to me. And without any new clothes to write about, I decided to use this as an outfit post opportunity. And voila, here we are!

What's funny is that the weekend, before my brother complained that I'm always wearing baggy or oversized clothing (sorry, I'm not Kylie Jenner here), joking that I look homeless. But I love the homeless chic look, especially when you can recycle pieces. When money is short, you need to get creative my friends. And I think when done correctly, oversized clothing can actually look really sophisticated and cool. But obviously for my brother, he sees me in my hoodies, make up less and hair in disarray on a Sunday morning so not looking my best haha. Regardless, I'm very happy with my new donation as the weather has become chillier, especially in the mornings and evenings. I don't mind too much though because I'm excited for the colder weather and layering fashion. I think I'll start some winter shopping this week so hopefully will be feeling a little more inspired on the outfit posts soon. Have a good week all xo
