Not Working For Someone Else's Dream
"Fuck working for someone else's dream" - by far the best thing said to me this week. I'm meeting more and more millennials recently who are growing tired of working for other people and developing a strong desire to put their own personal stamp on the business world. It's so inspiring to see young people feeling empowered enough to chase their own dreams and carve their own destinies.
One such person, Alice Oluyitan, is the founder of the ever-colourful luxe womenswear collection, Gbemi.
After meeting Alice at the Future Girl Corp event last month and hearing about her vision to inspire girls in wearing their dreams, I was super keen to collaborate with her.
And these images are the manifestation of our collaboration. As a girl that lives in monochrome, it was soooo fun to dress up in bright and attention grabbing pieces. Couldn't be more perfect for the upcoming festive season!
Head over to the Gbemi site to read a mini interview I shared with Alice and as it's Christmas, we've teamed up to offer Carelle readers a 20% discount off any piece from the collection with the code carellestyle. Offer ends Dec 20th so it's just in time for party season! You're welcome ;) xo
