Lagos to London

It’s been about a year since Channel 4 premiered their documentary, Lagos to London, following the lives of young and influential Nigerians living and working in London. I remember watching, being excited for a show on primetime television that would showcase some of the bright and brilliant stars coming out from our country. Unfortunately I was left disappointed with yet another stereotyped portrayal of Nigerians as 'big spenders'. While there is a lot of wealth living in and coming out of Nigeria, it’s a wonderfully culture-rich and interesting country, with an array of smart and inspirational young people: entrepreneurs, writers, professors, artists, designers, etc...This month alone, I've had the opportunity to meet and build relationships with some of these up and coming Nigerians, whether British born or flying back and forth between Lagos and London. Just from one or two meetings alone, I’ve learned so much from each of them and felt so inspired by all their ventures so course I wanted to share more about them on here. Here’s a snippet of some rather fab people you should follow and support:
